Henri Suhonen

Draftsman, painter, designer, and teacher working in Järvenpää, Finland.

B. 1985, I specialise in the academic art style aka classicism of the 19th century using mainly graphite, charcoal and oil paint. I mostly draw and paint portraits, still life, landscapes, and narrative figure paintings of allegory, mythology, everyday life, scifi/fantasy and Christian themes. I also work as a digital artist/designer.

Education:

My formal education is in Graphic Design. My fine art training consists mostly of workshops, private lessons, books, videos and online resources such as New Masters Academy, Schoolism, and, of course, YouTube and its various art instructors.
